Anastasia VoevodinAnastasia grew up in warm and cheerful Centerville, Ohio before moving to the cold northeast for undergrad at Boston University. After having a stint in the engineering department, she just couldn't deny her love for chemistry and so joined Prof. Aaron Beeler's laboratory to learn more about synthesis. Anastasia did not want to stop learning nor completely part with the cold and so she came to Columbia for her Chemistry PhD. In order to learn it all, Anastasia chose to be a joint student with Prof. Xavier Roy and Prof. Luis Campos. She is looking forward to discovering what can happen when combining superatoms with polymers. Outside of the lab, you can find her running around Manhattan trying to stay warm.
