Dino Wu, Swiss National Science Foundation FellowDino was born close to Milan (Italy) and grew up there and in Zürich (Switzerland). He received his BSc/MSc degrees at ETH Zürich, where he performed his Master research in the group of Prof. François Diederich, working in the field of supramolecular chemistry. He proceeded to conduct his doctoral research in the group of Prof. Jeffrey Bode, where he developed new synthetic routes to and applications of the unique acyltrifluoroborate moiety. After securing the SNSF Early Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship, he joined the Campos group to explore new ways to apply upconversion in synthetic organic chemistry. He is excited to start this new adventure and explore the Big Apple! Outside of the lab, he likes to hike, experiment in the kitchen and, of course, eating the product of his cooking successes/failures.
