Isaac J. KnudsonHailing from the sultry swamps of Gainesville, Florida, Isaac joined the Campos group in the big apple after a two-year stint of molecular biology research under Dr. Jorg Bungert at the University of Florida. The turn away from zinc-finger DNA binding domains and towards polyelectrolyte nanomaterials has meant a number of changes in the life of this budding scientist, among them a new set of tools for his trade. While Isaac greatly misses his calibrated biochemistry pipettes, he is warming to the rubber-bulbed Pasteur pipettes of the chemistry lab. When not sparging in the hood, Isaac might be found sipping espresso, pondering the foundations of knowledge, or climbing a cliff face.
