Jessica L. FreyerJessica has always found joy in combining and concocting, whether that takes the form of mixing mulch, soil and seeds and waiting carrots to appear, blending the perfect ratio of flour and (very cold) butter to create the flakiest pate brisee, or finding the perfect ratio of St. Germaine and prosecco. Jessica's curiosity takes the form of wondering what will result from the taking disparate elements and seeing what amazing things result when they join together. Chemistry was a natural, and so it just made sense for her to join Luis Campos's lab in Columbia University's Chemistry Department where she concocts polyionic potions for fuel cell and battery applications, right along with all the other ways she enjoys mixing things up!
