Kaia ParentiKaia grew up outside of Chicago. She later moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, only to find that winters there are even worse. At University of Michigan, Kaia developed a love for football and an accompanying hatred of the Ohio State Buckeyes. When not in the Big House, Kaia spent her time researching palladium-catalyzed carboamination reactions with Prof. John Wolfe. Kaia decided to choose her graduate school on criteria other than their football record and ended up at Columbia. When not in the lab, Kaia enjoys baking, playing with cats, and going to bed early.
