Sebastian T. RussellSebastian was raised in the small town of Amherst, Massachusetts where he attended high school and later college at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Starting his college career as a varsity linebacker, Sebastian spent ample time lifting textbooks as well as dumbbells landing him a spot as a graduate student in the Chemical Engineering department at Columbia University. At Columbia University he has been recruited as a joint student between Prof. Luis M. Campos and Prof. Sanat K. Kumar for his ability to lift multiple DCM drums while preforming Fourier transforms. When he is not in the gym, Sebastian is exploring the self-assembly diblock copolyelectrolytes for battery, fuel cell, and gas separation applications.
